Latest fitting systems at The Range. The Range Custom Fitting Centre has recently acquired the latest in custom shaft fitting systems from Alpha & Nakashima. These special driver heads allow our staff to switch shafts during fitting sessions in a matter of moments. Not only does this save time but these heads are also unique in that the customer can actually buy & put into play the same adjustable head they have tested! The Nakashima version also allows our fitters to adjust face angle by an amazing 6º! It is by far the most advanced driver fitting system of it’s kind. Heath wins...& wins again. When you’re hot, you’re hot. On the last weekend of April, The Range’s own Heath Lewis took out the state long drive championship with a blast of 303m. In conditions better suited for ducks Heath outlasted a small but highly qualified field to take the title before bad weather halted the event shortly after midday. Five days later Heath unleashed both his long drive weaponry & his short game touch at Flagstaff Hill to win the SAPGA 18 hole Pro-Am with a near flawless round of 5 under, 67. Nice work Heath!!
Grass tee in play soon!
After months of delays & agonizing due to water restrictions our grass tee is nearing readiness for play. Ground staff have recently tapped into our water recycling system to enable this area to be irrigated far more effectively & we expect to open it to the public in the next few days.
